Highway Angel Truck Stop Tour partners with Randall-Reilly to host college tailgate
9/30/2013

The stop on Friday will double as a pre-game party for Randall-Reilly associates, clients in preparation for the University of Alabama’s home game on Saturday

Nashville, Tennessee:

The Truckload Carriers Association’s (TCA) Highway Angel Truck Stop Tour will be partnering with Tuscaloosa, Alabama-based marketing firm Randall-Reilly for the tour’s stop this Friday, October 4th at the Tuscaloosa TravelCenters of America (TA) location from 5-7 p.m.

The stop, featuring its usual live broadcast by Renegade Radio Nashville and hour-long acoustic performance by Highway Angel spokesperson and country recording artist Lindsay Lawler, will also double as a pre-game party for Randall-Reilly associates and clients in preparation for the University of Alabama’s home game against Georgia State on Saturday.

“Randall-Reilly takes pride is providing unique entertainment for clients we host during college football weekends, and we are thrilled that Lindsay’s tour is coming to Tuscaloosa this Friday. She is a talented performer and I know our guests are in for a treat,” said Scott Miller, Senior Vice President of Sales. “Having Lindsay in our hometown also provides an opportunity for our employees to see a great concert in a family-friendly environment.”

The tour – designed to promote a better trucking industry image through exposure of TCA’s Highway Angel program – kicked-off in Prescott, Arkansas on August 19th. Aside from Renegade Radio Nashville’s live broadcast and Lawler’s performance at each of the tour’s 26 southeast and Midwest stops, each location offers opportunities for drivers to tell their stories and share their talents on-air.

“We’re constantly looking for creative and unique spins to each of our tour stops,” said Lawler. “We’re so excited Randall-Reilly will be involved in this stop. They do so much within the trucking industry – their involvement makes sense and is welcomed.”
