Hi, my name is Dave Hunt.  I am currently working as a diesel technician for a Mack Trucks dealer in Omaha and I am about to return to college as a junior after a fourteen year break.  I guess you could say the trucking industry has actually been my life.  For the past twelve years I have supported my family by fixing trucks.  I have excelled at what I do but I have found myself in a pickle. I have reached the limit of where I can go in the business without a higher degree.  I can’t complain. I have been able to support my wife and three children and she has been able to be a stay at home mom, but now it’s now time to make upward career moves.  A business degree is paramount to get into management level jobs and I am sure that my experience coupled with a degree will lead to sure success.  I have worked directly with countless owner operators in all different businesses as well as operators for large fleets such as Werner, CRST, U.P.S. and A.B.F. to name a few, and I would really like the opportunity to work coordinating service operations with the unique logistic needs of companies like these.  I believe this degree will take me where I want to go.  Thank you for your consideration.
