Nicholas FerenchakNicholas Ferenchak I believe that I have a fairly unique relationship to the trucking industry because even though I am still a full time college student, I have already had experience with employment in that field. The summer of 2006 that I spent working second shift on the production line at the Mack Trucks Production Plant in Macungie, PA taught me valuable lessons about business in the real world, the engineering behind complex products and production systems, and the importance of hard work and responsibility. This employment also gave me a new perspective on the value of education, and how it is vital in the position I wish to obtain later in life. Also, my father’s employment as a maintenance manager at the same plant has helped show me the importance of all parts of any multifaceted system, and showed me that I must work diligently on all aspects of my life. |
