FMCSA has launched the intervention process mandated by CSA—a three-phase process designed to focus on and address specific safety problems and improve driver and carrier behaviors. During this timely and informative program, Jeff Davis, CDS, vice president of Jet Express, Inc., shares how to get ready and step-by-step procedures for developing individual safety management plans. He updates you on recent revisions the agency has made to its methodology for quantifying the on-road safety performance of carriers and drivers, as well as the corresponding impact these revisions will have on BASIC scores.
