    TCA's National Image Campaign

    Get Involved

With an ever-expanding list of programs and initiatives, Truckload Carriers Association is constantly working to increase awareness about the trucking industry and to promote its positive image.

Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund "Wall That Heals"

TCA partners with VVMF to bring Wall That Heals to communities across America

The Truckload Carriers Association (TCA) and the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund (VVMF) are partnering to bring The Wall That Heals to communities across America. A 250-foot replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial, The Wall That Heals honors the more than three million Americans who served in the U.S. Armed forces during the Vietnam War. It bears the names of the more than 58,000 men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in Vietnam. Read more about the partnership, here and to view photos and videos from the events.

TCA thanks the countless carriers whom have hauled the Wall That Heals so far. Click here to see the complete list and to learn how you can get involved!
    Wreaths Across America

TCA provides fund-raising support for remembrance wreaths and recruits member companies to deliver wreaths nationwide

Each year, trucking companies and professional truck drivers donate their tractor trailers and time to deliver thousands of remembrance wreaths to our nation’s military cemeteries on behalf of Wreaths Across America (WAA). This partnership will further the success of this important mission to honor our fallen heroes.

In an effort to educate the public, media, and government about the trucking industry, TCA produced a commercial, shown above, that showcases the compassion and patriotism of our industry.

Wreaths Across America's goal for 2014 was met this year—for every gravestone at Arlington National Cemetery to be covered—that's more than 230,000 wreaths! View the convoy's trek from Harrington, Maine to Arlington.

TCA thanks the carriers whom hauled wreaths, nationwide, in 2014.

Click here to view the MSNBC "Taking the Hill" segments which aired on live television; there's four in all which tell the story of Wreaths Across America, how the organization came to be, and how critical of a part Truckload Carriers Association plays.

Approximately 500 attendees, including 170 local school children, gathered to witness the once in a generation event. Click here to view photos from the tree cutting event.

The U.S. Capitol Christmas Tree made more than 30 stops as it traveled through local communities, Minnesota and the Midwest on its way to the nation's capital.

A special Kenworth T880 transported "The People's Tree".

TCA sponsored a "whistle stop" in Cleveland, Ohio at the Browns stadium on November 16 before a scheduled NFL game. The tree lighting ceremony was held in Washington, DC on December 2, 2014.

    Trucking Moves America Forward

Logo: TCA and TMAFTrucking Moves America Forward is a new initiative that will establish a long-term industry-wide movement to create a positive image for the industry and to ensure that policymakers and the public understand the importance of the trucking industry to the nation’s economy.

Most Americans don’t realize how essential trucks are to their lives until there is a severe weather or adverse condition that prevents trucks from delivering. But the fact is trucks are critical to our national and global economy, to our families, to our businesses, and so much more. When they stop moving, the country stops moving.

Click here to meet those in the trucking industry whom contribute to the industry, every day. Interested in learning more or donating to the movement? Click here to visit the Trucking Moves America Forward website.
