Avoiding 'The 'Dirty Dozen' in freight contracts

The caution that "the devil is in the details" is nowhere more true than in contracts between trucking companies and their shippers and brokers. Study: "Just in Time to Wait: An Examination of Best Practices for Streamlining Loading/Unloading Functions"

Voluntary Guide for Good Business Relations

In conjunction with the National Industrial Transportation League, TCA created a Voluntary Guide for Good Business Relations that emphasizes reasonable and common-sense treatment of those involved in truck transportation, including shippers/receivers, truck drivers and motor carriers.

Major Obstacles to Increased Productivity Faced by the Truckload Carrier Industry This white paper, written by Laurie T. Baulig, Esq., was released to the public in March, 2000. Although a few years old, the paper helps create an awareness of the problem of excessive driver waiting time at shippers and receivers docks.
