Robinson’s winning

enjoyed Robinson’s photographs so much that another one of his entries,
a photo overlooking a valley in Pendelton, Oregon was awarded an honorable mention. Robinson will receive a check for $1,000 and have
his grand prize photograph featured on the front cover
of RPM Magazine.
In second place, and winning $750 is Tom
Majcherczyk of Toronto, Ontario, Canada, a driver for Highland
Transport of Markham, Ontario. Majcherczyk’s unique
black and white photograph shows his white rig in front of a large dark ship.
The crisp lines and interesting composition showing only a small part of the
ship and the truck immediately impressed the judges.

Kaul of Saraland,
Alabama, a company driver for KLLM of Jackson, Mississippi,
who will receive $500. Kaul is a long haul
driver
and carries a camera all over the country with him. His winning photo was

place with his beautiful silhouette shot of his truck in
the orange sky of a sunset, the vivid colors and interesting
composition made this photo a favorite of the judges. He will receive
$100
for his winning entry.

Hepler of Smithton, Pennsylvania who is a driver for Diamond
Transport System. Hepler has been driving

to the back of the park to photograph his truck with the beautiful
sand
dunes. Clawson
has
been driving for 30 years and likes to photograph “anything different.”
In addition to the six primary winners, four honorable
mentions ($50 prize each) were awarded:
Ryan Avenarius of Dubuque, Iowa, who drives for Simon’s Trucking of Farley,
Iowa, submitted a photo of his truck in front of a beautiful sky and mountain.
The composition of the photo, showing only half of the trailer made the judges
take a closer look at this winning photo. Avenarius has been driving for 10 years
and enjoys taking photos out west.
Larry Fulgham of Stigler, Oklahoma, is a company
driver with Wal-Mart Transportation of Bentonville,
Arkansas. Stigler regularly submits pictures to the

Sunwest of Goodyear, Arizona, submitted a photo of
a rat terrier named Oscar in the driver’s seat of
his brother’s semi. The photo was taken on a drive from Northfield, Minnesota
to Goodyear, Arizona.

for this striking photo taken as he drove up Blue Mountain and looked back down
on Pendleton, Oregon and the trucks following him.
